The Botanical Garden of Padua lies between the Prato della Valle city square and the Basilica of St Anthony. It was named a UNESCO world heritage site in 1997. Visits can be by guided tour or self-organized, in which case the admission price includes an audio guide, with a version for children too — ‘AudioPen Kids’.

The Biodiversity Garden reopens

After closing in July 2023 for extensive maintenance work, the greenhouses of the Biodiversity Garden are finally reopening to the public on the occasion of Risvegli. La Festa dei Fiori. The Garden itself is at the heart of the tenth edition of Risvegli, where the greenhouses once again take centre stage, hosting a variety of workshops and creative activities.

With this exciting development, the Padua Botanical Garden invites all visitors to rediscover these extraordinary spaces and immerse themselves in the beauty and complexity of the plant world through a rich and engaging programme designed for all age groups.
