Guided tours are available for individual visitors, school groups of all levels, and tourist groups, and are conducted by naturalist guides from the Botanical Garden. The guides accompany visitors through the historic Garden and Botanical Museum on a journey exploring the history of the Botanical Garden, the connection between botany and medicine, and the incredible variety and adaptability of plants.

Guided tours for schools and groups

Schools and groups of up to 30 people can book different types of guided tours, depending on duration and theme choice.
Guided tours lasting 90 minutes cost €80 for groups and €70 for schools, while tours lasting 60 minutes cost €60. Guided tour fees are in addition to the entrance fee.

General introduction - 90 or 60 minutes

A guided tour of the oldest Botanical Garden in the world. This fascinating journey starts with an exploration of the origins of the Garden of simples, takes visitors through its historical plants and collections, and includes a visit to the Botanical Museum, opened in February 2023. Tours can be booked for groups or individual visitors and are available in Italian, English, French or German.

Themed tours - 90 or 60 minutes

Themed guided tours lasting 60 or 90 are available and can be combined with educational workshops. Tours can be booked for groups or individual visitors.
