Free audio guide available in English, German and Italian

A one-hour tour in eighteen stops, disclosing the secrets of the Old Garden, the Biodiversity Garden and the Botanical Museum, available in Italian, English and German, and to be accessed via smartphone: it is the new audio guide of the Botanical Garden, available as of May 2023.

Either those who have a short time for visiting the Garden but don’t want to miss anything, or those who are just looking for a more autonomous visit than a traditional guided tour, will be surely enchanted by this journey through a unique place, where centuries of love of nature, cultural revolutions, and stories of extraordinary characters cohabit.

The audio guide is on sale at the Ticket Office (5 euros), in addition to the admission ticket. When you purchase the service, you will be provided with a unique QR Code, which allows you to access via web the audio content through your smartphone, and a special map where the tour stops are marked.

A tool for visiting the Botanical Garden with children

The Botanical Garden has always been popular with families, as it’s a place where even the youngest visitors can enjoy nature and learn while having fun. Now, they have an additional tool at their disposal.

The AudioPen, with its map and highlighted points of interest, an interactive visit to the Botanical Garden: each child can navigate during their visit, select a point they wish to learn about and listen to information. The journey takes them from the Oriental Plane tree to the Botanical Museum, from Goethe’s Palm to poisonous plants, discovering the plants, origins and history of the world’s oldest university botanical garden.
